	Wow! There is some great information here. Thanks guys. A few thoughts... First, people love events, places to gather and mingle, drink, etc. This can't be done online, so the brick and mortar galleries are still essential. Lori, I think you're thoughts on invitational, salon style shows are spot on. I can't wait to get work into some of them now. Second, I thought sharing was a good thing? A relationship is built on mutual respect and trust and doing good to each other. If a gallery can't trust its artists, then it should dump them and visa-versa. Clint, you are right that people want to be on the "inside," or with the in-crowd. I'd love to have a relationship with artists I collect(if I could afford to collect).
