Aaron Westerberg is a native Californian who grew up in San Diego. Along with music, Aaron enjoyed drawing and eventually took a class in traditional life-drawing.
He flourished in these classes and expanded his focus to include the study of Edmund Tarbel, John Singer Sargent, Anders Zorn and other 19th century artists. These masters of form, color and light have stayed with him as inspiration as he strives to capture the subtleties that express the uniqueness of his subjects.
Recently Aaron has reached a level of acclaim which includes having his work hanging in major corporations and museums. He was picked to paint a portrait for a celebration of the founder of the Countrywide Corporation, which currently hangs in their executive board room.
