Thanks Clint for this important reminder. I haven't spend much time considering that my collectors probably want to collect more than one work of mine.

Guess it's time to make sure they're aware of what my new work is and perhaps give them an incentive to purchase. I also need to let them know how much I appreciate their patronage.

If I'm sending out my email newsletters on a regular basis, it wouldn't take much more effort to call.. especially if they provide me with a phone number. Many times I have no idea who purchased my work because the gallerist won't let me know.

There's got to be a way to deal with that problem.

Thanks for the reminder...So much to do, so little time...(besides painting that is). By the way your posts are very helpful in many areas. i share them with my class (giving you credit of course). Keep them coming, we all need help in the marketing area.
Thanks

Veronique

The link to this article is broken for some reason. When I click on it, it doesn't open the article. This needs to be corrected from the site.

Kathryn,

There was no article attached... the whole blog is just this one statement.

Lori - you are correct - the whole blog post is just one statement - I thought the statement was *that* important.

I see. The confusion came because when I put my cursor over the title, the "little hand" appeared which indicated to me that there was a link. Thanks for clearing up this confusion.
