Wray's sensitive Impressionistic urban landscapes exude a quiet sense of wandering down the grass roots of an era gone by. His striking figurative work possess a (Diane) Arbus quality. His newest body of work combines all of his traits and adds an abstract element, creating a surreal, dramatic edge. - Informed Collector
I try and challenge myself to create a brand of realistic expressionism and hope to use this methodology as a bridge into the customarily circumspect contemporary art world.
