Thank you for visiting my site. I find that I get my greatest rewards as a plein air artist. There is an energy and freshness in painting from life that I enjoy.
The Southwest is a natural habitat for the nature lover. It is conducive to many outdoor painting opportunities and is the perfect place for me to express the truth of what I see outside in the natural light.
It is my hope that the viewer can feel the mood of the setting and the sense of what I was feeling as I translated the scenery onto canvas.
