Sharon is a native of Columbus Ohio, and has had a love of art since her earliest childhood memories. In her late 20's she began taking lessons with other artists, being particularly drawn to portraiture. She has studied at Columbus College of Art and Design and under Artist in Residence Micheal McEwan at Capital University. In addition she has participated in numerous workshops and demonstrations with prominent artist such as Portait Artist Daniel Greene, Raymond Kinsler, William Draper and many others through Portrait Society Of America. She is currently a member of Collage of Women Artists.
Her work is in the collections of major corporations and homes throughout the United States. In addition her work is on permanent display at the Motts Military Museum of Groveport Ohio.

Procedure & Fees
The portrait process begins with the inital meeting and discussing size, style(casual or formal) where the portrait will hang, will the painting be painted from life or from photographs. I prefer to take my own photographs however in some instance the clients photographs can be used. I normaly take anywhere from 100 to 150 photographs. The photgraphs can be taken in the clients home, or other location. I will sort through the pictures and select ones that will be suitable for your portrait. They are then presented to the client for the final selection.
FEES:
Head & Shoulders 11" x 14" $1200.00
Head & Shoulders 18" x 24" $1800.00
Half figure with hands 20" x 24" $2800.00
Three-quarters 24" x 30" $3500.00
Full figure 30"x 40" & Larger $4000.00 & up
Price includes photography session with subject(s) - client may keep final image selected
Canvas larger than 30" x 40" - per quote
Portraits do not include frame
For additional figures -add 50% to stated price for each figure
Pets painted into any portrait add add $200.00 per pet
50% deposit required upon commitment
Delivery in general can be expected in one to three months.
All travel, lodging, framing, applicable taxes and shipping expenses are in addition to the prices listed above.
