"Without a doubt, watercolor is my favorite medium. After many years of painting in oil (mostly on location), I realized that my heart really lies in working with watercolors. I love the paper, the brushes, the water, the results, the challenge, everything. No turpentine or paint thinner fumes! Watercolor is an amazing medium because so much can be expressed with it. This web site is dedicated exclusively to my original watercolors and signed, limited edition giclee prints."
He was born in Waterloo, Iowa, on July 22, 1950 and lives in Traer, Iowa, where he is building a studio/home just outside of town. His other interests include weightlifting, chess, playing Bluegrass guitar and 5-string banjo, singing, gardening, target shooting, tennis, RVing and playing the violin (just beginning).
