Kyle has a magical way of approaching figurative work. Attention to detail, unique angles of view, and enchanting use of highlights combine to form a perfect union. - Informed Collector
I began teaching drawing lessons to Kyle Stuckey when he was 17 years old. He took to his artwork with fervor, and a year later he began painting in oils. I have never had such a disciplined, hard working student. Today, he can paint circles around me, but I don't take credit for his current work - since he has come this far mostly on his own.

Biography
Kyle Stuckey
Kyle Stuckey, born 1987, did not grow up drawing and painting. Being home-schooled, Kyle needed art credits during his high school years, so his parents turned to Lori Woodward to create an art curriculum for Kyle. She began by having Kyle draw simple still life set ups. Lori immediately recognized that Kyle has a great deal of natural ability, or talent – as some call it.
Since that time, Stuckey has been selected as a Scottsdale Artist School scholarship recipient at the age of 19; He won 2nd Place in Southwest Art Magazine's 21 Under 31 annual competition, which was followed by a feature article in Southwest Art Magazine (June 2010).
He also won the grand prize for the National Bold Brush Online Competition later in 2010, and was a finalist in American Artist Magazine's annual Cover Competition in 2011. His work continues to be featured in magazine articles. You can see his work online at kylestuckey.com and at the following galleries: Legacy Gallery, Scottsdale AZ, Monadnock Fine Art, Keene NH, and Sanders Galleries, Tucson, AZ.
Stuckey is a member of The Putney Painters, an invitational group, mentored by Richard Schmid and Nancy Guzik.
