Art is communication, whether creating a portrait or landscape. My painitngs are a conversation. I am drawn to bold colors which express my view of the world and life. Inspired by texture and bold brush stokes, I strive to instill these in all my oil paintings.

Biography
Art is communication, whether creating a portrait or landscape. Her paintings are a conversation. She is drawn using bold colors and contrasts which express her view of the world and life. Her travels take her around the country to create landscapes in plein aire. She takes commissions for portraits, pet portraits and landscapes and creates from studies and photos of the places she has traveled in addition to her plein air work.
Jennylynne is mostly a self taught artist. After following her passions in the corporate world and in music, she decided to "go rogue" and persue her art career professionally in 2008. She has enhanced her personal experiences with art education classes at the community college and with nationally known artists, Albert Handell, Anita West and Maggie Price and Phil Starke. She also has taken classes with internationally known artist and mentor Donna Aldridge. All of these wonderfully creative people have contributed to her passion for pastels and oils.
She is also the founder of the "Grateful Hearts Project". This Project does portraits of fallen soldiers,of the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts from the states of Missouri and Kansas, for their families completely free of charge. This project is one very close to her heart and one to which she donates her time and talent with a willing and grateful heart.
Jennylynne exhibits her work at Gragg Studios and Gallery in Lee's Summit, Mo. and St Luke's Hospital Gallery in Lee's Summit, Mo. She also has exhibited in shows at the Albrecht-Kemper Musuem of Art in St. Joseph, Missouri , the R. G. Indres Gallery in Mission, Ks, the Kansas City Club, Got Art Gallery, Lee's Summit, Mo & the Buttonwood Art Space, KCMO,at City Hall, Lee's Summit, Mo. and The View at Grandview, Mo. and the Longview Art and World Music Festival.
