I love using bright, crisp, vivid colors with lively brushstrokes to express my emotions. I take pleasure in painting a variety of subjects, including landscapes, both architechural and scenic, portraits, animal subjects and still lifes.
Biography
Dyan has been painting for over 30 years, working in watercolors, pastels and oils. She has studied with well-known local and national artists. Throughout the years Dyan has developed her own impressionistic style of painting, recognizable by her lively brushwork and bright, vivid colors. Her love of painting is evident whether she is painting landscapes, portraits, animals or florals.
Dyan is a signature member of West Texas Watercolor Society, has won numerous awards, and has paintings in private and corporate collections throughout the U.S. and internationally. She also teaches classes at Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts in Lubbock, Texas and at Amarillo Art Institute in Amarillo, Texas.
