Red Sky at Night by Durinda Cheek

My husband was in the navy and when we are together, he notices the colors of the sky.  "Red sky at night, sailor's delight.  Red sky at morning, sailors take warning," is something he says.  This is a studio painting based on my studies of skies and marshes.  I wanted to portray the sky turning red just at sundown.  This painting is on gallery wrapped canvas which does not require a frame.  It has a high gloss varnish to give it a comtemporary look.  Contact me if you are interested in something similar since this piece is sold:  Durindacheek@gmail.com.
