Details:

I knew I was going to be  painting three this size, and that they would all be Holsteins.

Once the first one was chosen, the Holstein Bull, I knew he needed a cow counterpart.  It took me hours going through my reference photos, plus a few additional trips to the Dairy to take more.  I had three candidates in the end before I made the final decision on this gal, chosen because of her very feminine look, and of course the top knot so neatly on her head like a little pill box hat.
