Along the Verde River by Kyle V Thomas

I was heading to Tuzigoot Ruins in Cottonwood, AZ. As I crossed over the bridge above the Verde River, I saw this beautiful running water reflecting the red, gold and orange leaves of Autumn. The sun was setting and the grey clouds enhanced the warms colors of the trees. As I was painting, I thought those dark reeds in the foreground were a great contrast to the warm autumnal colors of the cottonwood trees. I also loved painting the reflections in the water. I think it shows.
