Morning Light, Ephraim by Debra Joy Groesser

One of my favorite places to paint in Door County, Wisconsin... the view from the public beach in Ephraim. The morning light is stunning...the long shadows on the beach, the light glinting off the church steeples, the atmosphere, the colors. It's simply a peaceful, beautiful place to spend the early morning hours on a sunny day. This was painted during the 2010 Door County Plein Air Festival.
