I painted this on a quiet summer afternoon in Nebraska, a few miles west of Omaha, alongside artist Harold Nelson who was visiting from Scottsdale. Harold, Shelly Bartek and I had dodged rain and storms all day, but by late afternoon, the sun came out and the clouds were gorgeous!
