The Artist Says:
The majority of my work is produced in series; I am not complete with a subject if I paint it only once. A similar feeling would be having a conversation with a good friend once and then never again. Whether I am painting a portrait, a figure on the beach, a building or a tree, I am constantly searching for a final piece interesting enough to stimulate my visual sense as well as challenging me along the way. Composition, color and texture are more important to me than a particular "style". I do not consider myself an impressionist, or an expressionist. I paint what strikes me at that very moment and one painting leads me to the next. I hope this honest vision comes through in my work.
Dealers Say:
"Logan Hagege's paintings compell the viewer from across the room. One
savors the painterly surface, sensuous shapes and evocative color
harmonies that are the signature of his work."

Other Artists Say:
"In the work of young artists like Logan Hagege, we're seeing the evolution of a new movement in Art that both reaches back to the great traditions of realism as well as finding a uniquely modern sense of design and color that is both personal and beautiful. I find myself pleasantly surprised at each new painting Logan creates and am eager to see what great works he will create as he matures further." Scott Burdick

Biography
Logan Hagege is a talented young artist that excels in depicting the figure and landscapes. Serious study in art started for Logan after high school, when early interest in animation sent him to Associates in Art (now The Art Academy of L.A.). His interest quickly moved from animation to the fine arts while attending life drawing classes, and later the Academy`s Advanced Masters Program. Logan also studied under Steve Huston and Joseph Mendez. This artist has drawn inspiration for his subjects from his native Southern California as well as by traveling to view various landscapes and masterworks in places as diverse as New York, Massachusetts, North Carolina, and the countryside of France and England. Currently Logan is painting full time focusing on producing quality work.
Logan finds encouragement and guidance in masters of the past such as Gustav Klimpt, N.C. Wyeth, T.W. Dewing and Maynard Dixon. One idea that drives Logan`s work is that evolution in art is never ending. He is constanly challenging himself with new ideas and new ways of looking at the same subject.
Logan is a member of The Society of American Artists
