The Artist Says:

I strive to achieve realistic art that conveys human emotion through the face and figure. My major goal in creating a portrait is to capture the subject's personality and essence on paper.

Portraiture and Figurative Fine Art

Biography

Holly Bedrosian is a self-taught artist who has had a fascination with drawing faces from a young age, when she began creating portraits of family and friends. Though she continued to sketch throughout college, Holly elected to focus her studies on the sciences, completing a bachelor's degree in physics from the College of the Holy Cross in 1997. She went on to work as an engineer for the next ten years, but the desire to pursue her interest in the arts was always present. In March of 2007, she changed careers to become a self-employed artist. Since taking the plunge to pursue her dream, she has never looked back. With a keen eye for subtleties in faces, Holly focuses on realistic portraiture and figurative fine art, and believes that capturing the subject's personality and character is of utmost importance.

Today Holly is married to a wonderfully supportive husband, and makes her home just north of Boston. When she is not working on art, Holly spends her spare time running, playing classical piano, and enjoying the wonderful sights of New England.
